'Chanda Mama Door Ke' release delayed

While fans of Sushant Singh Rajput have been awaiting the release of his next "Raabta" that stars Kriti Sanon as the female lead, the actor surprised everyone with the announcement of his new film "Romeo Akbar Walter".

Today, Sushant Singh Rajput unveiled the first look poster featuring himself on his official twitter account.

The poster portrays the side look of Sushant and he looks extremely potent in it and the tagline of it reads: Our Hero, Their Spy?

Kriti Sanon has rubbished the reports of her break-up with Sushant Singh Rajput and stated that one can't plan a relationship.

The story is based on true events from 1971.

Written and directed by Robbie Grewal and produced by Dheeraj Wadhawan, Ajay Kapoor, Vanessa Walia and Gary Grewal, the film will be the debut release under the KYTA banner which is a joint venture of Dheeraj Wadhawan and Ajay Kapoor. Sushant tweeted, "2018 will be RAW".

Singh meanwhile has already essayed the role of the Sherlock Holmes-esque Bengali detective in the film Detective Byomkesh Bakshy.

Sushant started his career in television and became a household name as he played the protagonist in the TV series Pavitra Rishta.

"Film producer justified the decision by stating, "'Chanda Mama Door Ke' requires a lot of pre-production work and hence, the film will roll only by the end of July".
