Jared Kushner omits some foreign contacts on security form

Bannon is getting some of the blame for the administration's early stumbles because, one former adviser said, "The president demands results."In what was viewed as a sign of Bannon's declining influence, he was removed from his seat on the National Security Council this week".

A number of members of President Donald Trump's administration have told The Daily Beast that Bannon has started to refer to the president's son-in-law, and advisor, Jared Kushner a "globalist" and "cuck".

The White House narrative about Bannon's demotion, communicated in a statement from him and via background conversations he had with several reporters, is that he only temporarily held the post to monitor Flynn.

On foreign policy, Mr. Kushner is more inclined toward intervention in the Middle East while Mr. Bannon would prefer that the United States remain as uncommitted as possible.

At the bottom of the screen, in between two Bannon heads, the words "TOTAL CUCK MOVE" appeared as Colbert smirked and pointed.

Life can be pretty bleak under President Donald Trump, and you have to take your good news where you can get it.

But there was one other sentence in the New York Times' article that jumped out at me: "Mr. Kushner's omissions were described by people with direct knowledge of them who asked for anonymity because the questionnaire is not a public document". The husband of Trump's older daughter, Ivanka, recently returned from visiting USA troops in Iraq and was named to run an initiative to streamline the federal government. On a board in his West Wing office, Bannon keeps a list of promises Trump made to populist voters.

Trump's previous NSC plan also excluded the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the director of national intelligence from meetings except when "issues pertaining to their responsibilities and expertise are to be discussed".

House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) is reportedly in the running.

The meeting in Palm Beach, Florida, comes in the wake of reports that Mr. Trump may be considering a major shakeup in his top staff, and that Priebus and Bannon's jobs are in danger.

Mr. Bannon's closest ally is Stephen Miller, the president's senior adviser for policy and the author of orders to temporarily ban visitors from certain predominantly Muslim countries. In the era of unnamed sources, the network added that one Trump confidant told them that Bannon could be shown the door soon.
