Chicago rapper Chief Keef charged with DUI in Miami Beach

Once Keef's passengers were arrested, officials reportedly noticed the rapper's eyes were "bloodshot, watery", and "droopy". He also had a cup filled with a liquid known as "sizzurp" or "purple drank", a drink made with codeine-based cough syrup, soda and jolly ranchers, police said.

Once he saw that officers were heading towards him, McElrath apparently tried running back into Keef's vehicle.

The report says that police watched a passenger named Cortez McElrath jump out of the passenger side of Keef's green two-door McLaren.

Meanwhile, another officer held Cozart at Taser-point because he "was moving his hands around in the vehicle", the officer wrote.

Even if he weren't driving under the influence, it definitely wouldn't have been hard for the police to find Chief. The officer said that Cozart then stated: "It's OK, when you find weed in my urine, I'll just get my attorney to get my marijuana card". Keef allegedly told the police, "It's okay".

According to the latest reports, Keef and his companion were released on bond, on the same evening.

Judging from Chief Keef's Instagram, he's more annoyed than anxious by the situation, posting a middle-finger up selfie with the caption "back in da trap". The three people in the Altima, Eddie Bryant, Devante Reaves and Jamil Perkins, were also arrested.

McElrath and Bryant were both arrested and charged with possession of marijuana. Reeves had additional warrants out for his arrest and was found with nine fraudulent credit cards on him. Perkins, the driver of the Altima, was charged with having a suspended license.
