The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild already has dozens of hours of content, and Nintendo is revealing how it's going to add to one of the best games it's ever made. Today, Nintendo has pulled back the curtain on the first DLC pack releasing this summer.

Nintendo has unveiled the first DLC pack for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

The Pack 1 will also new Trail of the Sword challenges, new Path Mode, Travel Medallion, extra armor and the new Korok Mask. It draws the path onto the world map of Link's last 200 hours of walking, letting you see areas that you've yet to fully investigate. The Medallion will createa new temporary travel point where the player is now standing.

There are also some new outfits to find - a cool-looking Majora's mask to wear, plus a Tingle outfit if you like figure-hugging clothes - and, if you fancy upping the Zelda challenge, there'll also be a new Hard Mode. Face hordes of enemies wave after wave. Link will start the challenge without equipment or weapons, meaning you'll have to gather what you can to survive within the challenge grounds. In this mode, Link is more vulnerable and can easily be spotted. So, you'll have to clear all 45 rooms and at the end, the Master Sword becomes very powerful. This mode also adds treasure and enemy-bearing floating planks around Hyrule for players to discover. There's also a Korok Mask in here that shakes whenever you're close to one of the 900 Korok seeds in-game. Link can then transport himself to that point at any time.

There just feels like there's so much more that Nintendo could have done to make Breath of the Wild the ultimate survival game.

The Korok Mask is also hidden in a treasure chest somewhere in the world. If Link does manage to survive, he will be rewarded with a fully awakened and fully powered up Master Sword.

New Equipment There will be eight new pieces of equipment inspired by previous characters and games in the franchise.

A new item known as the Travel Medallion will be available as well. Only one Travel Medallion point can be registered at a time.
