A results bring jolly cheer to 50000 IIT aspirants

Advanced 2017 results were declared today on June 11, 2017 on the official website. IIT Madras will also be sent SMS to students to their registered mobile number to let them know of results of their JEE Advance results. Along with the top 10 list, a total of 8 students from Chandigarh has bagged different AIR in top 100 lists of 2017 JEE (Advanced).

A total of almost 1.74 lakh students registered for the exam, out of which 500 were foreign candidates as this year for the first time the entrance tests were conducted in 6 countries apart from India.

This year, more than 1.7 lakh students had appeared for the exam on May 21.

Sarvesh Mehtani has topped the JEE Advanced 2017 by scoring maximum marks out of the full marks in the exam.

Among the 30 students of Super 30 who have cracked prestigious IIT-JEE Advances 2017, there are wards of from landless farmer, egg seller, unemployed father. While the first phase will take place from 9 AM to 12 PM, the second one will be conducted from 2 PM to 5 PM.

The decision to award 11 bonus marks for the three ambiguous questions was taken following an internal review meet on the question papers by IIT experts. The questions were from mathematics, physics and chemistry section. Ashrut, son of V Srinivas working as additional chief engineer with Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited and homemaker V Madhavi, secured AIR 51 in JEE (Mains).

Category wise All India Ranks of successful candidates are also available on the online portal. He had claimed that he would get even better marks in JEE-advanced. With the publication of JEE results, the admission process in 23 Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) will commence from 15th June.

JEE (Advanced) results are out and Vabilisetti Mohan Abhyas, the son of a samosa vendor in Hyderabad, has set a precedent for others to follow.
