The God of War PS4 release date is set for sometime in 2018. The combat is new, the exploration is new, the visuals are stunning, and it seems as if there will be at least one familiar giant boss battle ahead of us.
We've been speculating over God of War for an entire year, and time has finally come to see more details.
Kratos is shown in the midst of a hard moral quandary, in which he ultimately decides not to kill his cursed son.
When you think of PlayStation, you think of franchises like Ratchet & Clank, Crash Bandicoot, Uncharted and God of War. Sony announced this God of War reboot at its E3 press conference a year ago, with Sony's Santa Monica Studio handling development. Kratos is back, with his son in tow, and it looks like he's left Greece and headed to the Nordic part of the world. Or window, with the game expected to ship Early 2018.
Storywise, we still don't know much, but I actually like the direction that they are taking. The main protagonist of the God of War series Kratos is still on-board and now his son Atreus is with him for the ride.
