A woman was killed and eight others wounded after all nine people who had gathered for a party where a pregnant woman was to reveal her child's gender became victims of a mass shooting in Ohio. "There's a pregnant girl here". Other victims were listed in critical, stable and serious condition at area hospitals.
"Hopefully there we can get some more information and descriptions, all the information we need to be able to proceed to continue this investigation, hopefully get the people who did the shooting", Colerain Township Police Ofc. The two men that witnesses saw leaving the house are still at large. The shooting took place at a gender-reveal party, a type of baby shower when expectant parents reveal the gender of their future child to friends and family.
"Two guys just came in and shot people in the house", she reportedly told the dispatcher.
No arrests have been made, and no information related to the suspects has been announced by police.
"You're hoping that there won't be situations like this", Love said.
"As of right now, I do not know what instigated this", Love told WLWT. "This will be one of those nights". Neighbors said that the shooter fled the scene.
Five victims were transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. "I looked outside, next thing I know they just ran in and just started shooting".
